Dr. Jesselle Cudjoe is an accomplished educator with over a decade of experience dedicated to advancing educational excellence and equity. She began her career as a special education teacher in the South Bronx, where she developed a strong foundation in supporting diverse learners. Since then, she has served in a range of academic roles across New York and the United States, shaping her work through a global perspective and a deep commitment to social justice in education.
Dr. Cudjoe currently serves as a Director of Curriculum, where she supports early childhood educators in developing the skills and dispositions necessary to effectively teach young learners with diverse needs. Her work is centered on promoting academic equity and ensuring access for all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, national origin, or racial identity. She is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and serves as an endorsed CDA Professional Development Specialist at the local and regional levels. In these roles, she contributes to advancing high-quality early childhood education through the integration of research, policy, and professional practice.
