Coordinator of Clinical Experiences
Kajsa Averill serves as the coordinator of clinical experiences for the Department of Education at Huntington University. Her role is to arrange placements for students in student teaching positions and involves coordinating between schools, the University, clinical educators, and teacher candidates. Kajsa is an HU alumna and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics education. Prior to joining the University staff, she employed her degree as a high school teacher for fifteen years.
Originally from Churchville, Virginia, Kajsa currently resides with her husband in Huntington. Her favorite memories from her undergraduate days at HU revolve around community, including Olympiad, PowderPuff football, and Davis Hall Follies. In her spare time, she enjoys working in her flowerbeds and reading.
