Matthew Gerlach

Director of Pre-College Programs

Matthew Gerlach joined the Huntington University staff in 2022.

Although Matthew has worked at HU since 2022, in 2025, he was promoted to director of pre-college programs for enrollment management and marketing. His role involves leading summer academic camps and guiding the University’s growing early college initiatives. This includes dual credit/enrollment, homeschool outreach, and partnerships with private Christian schools and gap-year programs.

Education:

Master of Science degree in recreation and sports sciences from Ohio University

Bachelor of Science degree in recreation and sports ministry from Huntington University
