Sanghoon brings over three decades of experience in ministry and social service leadership in the Phoenix area. He is the founder and lead pastor of The Faithful City, the Arizona Trauma Informed Faith Coalition, and the Weave and Cleave Movement, each demonstrating his deep commitment to building trauma-informed, faith-centered communities. He has collaborated with local governments, school districts, and churches to serve vulnerable populations and champion resilience-based approaches to care.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. His work in trauma care, substance use prevention, and community development has been recognized at both the state and national levels, including by the Governor of Arizona, who declared May as "Arizona Trauma Awareness Month" in honor of his advocacy.
