Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Life
Sarah joined the Huntington University staff in 2021. Prior to taking on her current role as executive assistant to the Vice President for Student Life, she served as the administrative assistant for student services and the Friesen Center. Sarah works with the Office of Student Life to help students have the best HU experience possible, supporting student life staff by assisting them with projects and facilitating communication between the community and HU. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in French and secondary education from Asbury University. Before coming to HU, Sarah enjoyed many years of teaching high school students and served as the president of the South Whitley Public Library Board.
Sarah is from Marquette, Michigan. She currently resides in Bluffton, Indiana, where she enjoys canoeing with her family, designing wedding cakes, reading historical non-fiction books, and researching new braiding methods for her Haitian-American daughters’ hair.
