Breakfast to feature HiValu Leadership president

Huntington, Ind.-Ed Vessels, president of HiValu Leadership Development Services and former general manager and director of operations at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, will be featured at the Huntington University Foundation breakfast on April 11.

Vessels will share with the breakfast group ways to maximize employee performance.

Upon retiring from Bendix after 31 years, Vessels founded HiValu Leadership to provide leadership training to individuals, churches, companies and non-profit organizations. He earned an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in business administration from Ohio State University.

The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. in Huntington University's Habecker Dining Commons, and the program will conclude by 9 a.m. The cost is $6 per person. First-time guests eat free.

The Huntington University Foundation hosts a monthly breakfast meeting open to anyone interested in learning about current issues and Huntington University programs. Breakfast meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May, at the Habecker Dining Commons. In addition, Vessels will give the same presentation at the Wells County Chamber of Commerce's Business Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on April 12. Cost is $8.50 per person, and the event will be held at the Arts, Commerce and Visitors Centre in Bluffton.
