Dowden appointed as Dellenback Fellow

Huntington, Ind. " Huntington University president Dr. G. Blair Dowden has been appointed as a Dellenback Fellow of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU). The Dellenback Fellows are experienced and prominent academic administrators who have an interest in the development of Christian higher education abroad. The Fellowship is named in honor of Dr. John R. Dellenback, former U.S. Peace Corps Director and former President of the CCCU. In November, Dowden will travel with two other Dellenback Fellows to Haiti where they will visit a few campuses. In addition, Dowden was recently appointed by the Higher Learning Commission Board of Trustees to the Accreditation Review Council. The primary duty of a council member is to participate in the review of team recommendations regarding an evaluation visit.
