HC wins award for personalized brochures

Huntington, Ind. " Huntington College's customizable admissions brochures have won a Best Practices award from the Print-On-Demand Initiative (PODi), a trade association of digital printers. Huntington's personalized recruitment brochures received high marks in the Direct Marketing: Traffic Generation and Loyalty segment of PODi's annual competition. The award recognizes this year's Best Practices in Collateral Management. The personalized brochures are designed by Superior Business Solutions/Scope 1 Marketing Technologies and enable Huntington College to effectively communicate with prospective students. College-bound students who visit the Huntington College web site can build a customized brochure specific to their interests.
Each personalized brochure includes personalized text, overviews of programs containing relevant information based on students' interests, alumni interviews, faculty biographies, course lists in the selected major and extracurricular features. The brochures also include a personal greeting from each student's assigned admissions counselor.

Scope 1 hosts a web-inquiry page that captures the student's desired area of study and extracurricular interests. The software system then instantly creates an electronic brochure that is emailed to the student and a printed brochure that is mailed to the student's home.
PODi is a not-for-profit industry initiative focused on promoting the opportunities in digital printing technology and leading the evolution of the digital printing infrastructure.
