Ken Hopper receives the April Peer Award from Lance Clark.
Clark, assistant professor of communication, chose to pass the traveling award to Hopper, assistant professor of art. The two individuals have recently traveled to schools in Oklahoma and Arkansas to visit different media and arts programs. They share the dream of starting a new program that would combine communication and art at Huntington.

It is an honor and a joy to serve with Ken not only as a colleague but also as a friend, Clark said. Ken's positive Christ-like attitude really encouraged me as we dreamed about starting a new program here at HC. I appreciate Ken's vision for how God can use the visual arts for His glory. His passion for excellence in the classroom and instruction is to be commended.

Sarah Harvey receives the April Peer Award from Denise Brauchla.
Brauchla, Learning Center secretary and secretary for Loew-Brenn faculty, passed her award along to Harvey, Huntington College registrar. Harvey received the award from Brauchla because of her outstanding efforts and servant attitude.

I have appreciated Sarah's helpfulness and counsel, not only as a colleague, but on a personal basis as well, Brauchla said. She does an excellent job of distributing important information to the campus that enable all of us to do our jobs more efficiently. Whenever I contact her with inquiries, she is patient and responds to those inquiries quickly and efficiently. Sarah has numerous responsibilities and I am always in awe of her vast knowledge in so many different areas. This knowledge serves Huntington College well.

Next month, the two recipients will be asked to pass the award on to someone outside of their department who has motivated or inspired them in some way throughout the month.
