Latham to speak at Martin Luther King Jr. Day service

Huntington, Ind.-Huntington University will observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a commemoration service that will feature the Rev. Michael Latham, president of the Fort Wayne-Allen County branch of the NAACP, as the keynote speaker. Preeminence, the university's worship ensemble, will provide music for the event.
The service will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 21 in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. The event is free and open to the public.
In addition to his role with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Latham pastors the Renaissance Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, and he serves as the chaplain for the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration.
