Magrum joins public relations team

Huntington, Ind. " Julie Magrum recently accepted appointment as the publications and advertising coordinator with the public relations office at Huntington College. She will be primarily responsible for developing the College's graphic design work, including the comprehensive web site, quarterly magazine, various advertising items and other publications.

Magrum is a 2002 graduate of Huntington College, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design. From June-December, 2002, Magrum worked as a Huntington College admissions counselor.

I am honored to accept this position and look forward to contributing to the advancement of Huntington College. It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to give something back to the institution that prepared me for not only excellence in the graphic design area, but also for life-long learning, said Magrum.

As a student, Magrum developed many skills while gaining experience in professional roles. She served as an intern to the Huntington College public relations office in 2001, helping to develop the Build-A-Brochure marketing tool for the College website, among other publications.

Julie brings to our office a lot of talent and skill in web and graphic design. She will be an asset to our everyday projects, working with both outside constituents and campus faculty and staff. It is a joy to have her with us! said John W. Paff, APR, Executive Director of Communications.
