Parkview, YMCA team up for foundation breakfast

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Foundation's Oct. 8 breakfast will feature Darlene Garrett, chief operating officer of Parkview Huntington Hospital, and YMCA Executive Director Dan Akeley. Garrett and Akeley will discuss the opening of the new Parkview Huntington Family YMCA and share the services and benefits that the new YMCA will offer to the community. The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. in Huntington University's Habecker Dining Commons, and the program will end by 9 a.m. The cost of admission is $6 per person, and first-time guests eat free.

The Huntington University Foundation hosts a monthly breakfast meeting open to a public interested in learning about current issues and Huntington University programs.
