Science building receives multi-state award

Huntington, Ind. " The Huntington College Science Hall has been selected as the winning entry for the International Masonry Institute. Science Hall, designed by InterDesign, received top honors in the college category. The 2003 Indiana/Kentucky Golden Trowel conducted the judging. Representatives from Notre Dame, Ball State, CSI, and the Masonry Union were on the judges' panel.
The Science Hall is eligible for these awards due to the amazing use of bricks throughout the building. On the interior, excellent masonry is exhibited in the fountain, walls, and stairs.
Awards will be presented on April 25, in the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Over 300 people will be in attendance.
