University unveils newly redesigned plate for 2007

Huntington, Ind.-The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will release a newly redesigned special recognition license plate for Huntington University on Jan. 1. The 2007 design features the university's athletic logo, an "H" with an ax in the middle. An authorization form is needed to purchase the special recognition plate from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles office. To obtain the form, log on to www.huntington.edu/plate.htm.
Specialty plates are available for a number of organizations within the state, and all require some additional fees. The Huntington University plate is being offered with the minimum required $15 administrative fee assessed by the BMV. No extra fee will be collected by Huntington University.
