Worship Leadership program to host Lent seminar

Huntington, Ind. "The new Worship Leadership program at Huntington University will host a seminar titled Lenten Observance for the Evangelical Protestant on Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Bob Myers (Click for high resolution image.)
Mr. Bob Myers, instructor in worship leadership, will present an explanation of the origins of Lent and the spiritual benefits that evangelicals might gain from its observance. Practical ways of incorporating the penitential season into the life of the church and the individual believer will be explored. The seminar will be completed by a service of repentance and renewal, facilitated by worship leadership students from Huntington University.
The seminar will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 1280 Hitzfield Street, in Huntington, Ind. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. and conclude by 5:45 p.m. All are welcome to attend this free seminar.
