Family Friendly Refreshments and Other Res Hall Fun

Every res hall has its unique traditions

The third floor of Wright Hall is known for its fun atmosphere. I have friends up there, but I can only visit during open hours, and we usually hang out at Becker Hall anyway. I will say, though, that the energy up there is pretty great, and if you need an excuse to check it out, I recommend The Dry Gentleman.

Every Wednesday from 7:00-11:00 p.m., a few of the Wright third lads will be selling family friendly drinks for as cheap as 50 cents. Even if you are saving your change, it is still a good opportunity to get a sense of the community up there. You might even consider moving there next semester. Getting back on topic, the guys are super chill, and their drinks are really good. The drink names themselves are also just unnecessarily entertaining, such as “The Bite of ’87” or “The Escape to Ohio.”.

As a female student, I cannot stay on Wright third for long. However, every residence hall has its own special traditions and vibe. If you are thinking of moving to Wright Hall or any other residence hall, you can find information on Huntington University’s residence halls at huntington.edu/Residence-Halls.
