College to hold 107th Commencement Exercises

Huntington, Ind. "Huntington College will hold its 107th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 14, 2005. The day will be filled with services and activities for the graduates, their families and friends, and the public, culminating in the Commencement Service at 3 p.m., on the campus' front lawn. The Class of 2005 marks the final graduating class of Huntington College, before the institution officially changes its name to Huntington University on June 1, 2005. COMMENCEMENT DAY SCHEDULE
10:00 a.m. Processional line for Baccalaureate forms
Location: Sidewalk near the lower level of the dining commonsNote: If inclement weather, line up will be in the lower level of MCA.
10:30 a.m. Baccalaureate Service
Location: Zurcher Auditorium - MCA Doors open at 10:00 a.m. Seating is limited. Tickets will be distributed to each graduate. Empty ticketed seats will be released to those without a ticket after 10:20. There will be overflow seating for those without a ticket in the Longaker Recital Hall.
11:30-1:00 Habecker Dining Commons will serve a brunch for graduating
students, parents, family members, and the public. Prices: Adults -
$7.75, Seniors over age 55 " $6.95, Children ages 6-12 - $4.00,
Children under age 6 " free. Graduating Students " FREE!
1:45 p.m. Graduate Student and Senior Class picture
Location: Outside - Lower level of the MCA
Note: If inclement weather, students will meet in gymnasium of the
MPERC.
2:30 p.m. Processional Line forms for graduates
Location: Walkway between College Ave. and the entrance to the
Science Hall
Note: If inclement weather, students will meet in the MPERC
Gymnasium to form Commencement processional.
3:00 p.m. Graduation Commencement
Location: Front Campus
Note: In case of inclement weather, Commencement will be held in
the MPERC Field House.
