Dyson receives new accounting scholarship

Huntington, Ind. " The accounting firm of N. Byron Price & Company, a division of Dulin, Ward & DeWald, Inc., has provided Huntington College with an annually funded scholarship program for accounting majors beginning in the 2003-04 academic year. Kari Dyson, a junior accounting major from North Manchester, Ind., was the first recipient of the $500 award. Dyson has been listed on the Dean's List of Academic Excellence and is currently employed at Indiana Lawrence Bank and the Huntington Union Building. She desires to be a Certified Public Accountant.
I would like to thank the donors of this scholarship for this money. Without their support, I wouldn't be able to attend Huntington College. I appreciate the support, said Dyson.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a junior or senior accounting major that has maintained a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) based upon a 4.0 GPA scale. The student must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Huntington County or contiguous counties.
