EXCEL inducts students into honor societies

Huntington, Ind.-Huntington University's EXCEL Adult Degree Programs has inducted four students into the Pinnacle honor society and three students into the Spire honor society. The Pinnacle and Spire honor societies are for those who are non-traditional students at least 23 years of age who have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and who have demonstrated leadership through community and/or church involvement. Pinnacle is for those who are either in their last year or graduating from a bachelor's program, and Spire is for those in their last year or graduating from an associate program.
Inductees into the Pinnacle honor society include the following:
Josh Barkley, an organizational management major from Ossian, Ind.
Sharon Bowman, business administration major from Huntington, Ind.
Elizabeth Miller, a business administration major from Wabash, Ind.
Terry Miller, an organizational management and business administration double major from Huntington, Ind.
Inductees into the Spire honor society include the following:
Jamie Jenkins, an organizational management major from Columbia City, Ind.
Mike Myers, an organizational management major from New Haven, Ind.
Deborah VanMeter, an organization management major from LaFontaine, Ind.
EXCEL offers evening classes tailored to the schedule of most working adults. Classes are held one night per week, one subject at a time. Classes last five to eight weeks and lead to an associate degree in organizational management or Christian ministry or bachelor's degrees in accounting, business administration, human resource management or not-for-profit leadership.
EXCEL offers classes in Columbia City, Huntington and Wabash.
