EXCEL students receive Dean’s List honors

Huntington, Ind.-Fifty-six students enrolled in Huntington University's EXCEL Adult Degree Programs have received Dean's List honors for the fall semester of 2008. Students on the Dean's List must achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester and take 12 or more credit hours. Students receiving this honor have a notation placed on their transcripts.

"We are delighted to be able to award this distinction to acknowledge the high academic performance of our students," said Dr. Rick Upchurch, director of the EXCEL program.

EXCEL offers evening classes tailored to the schedule of most working adults. Classes are held one night per week, one subject at a time. Classes last five to eight weeks and lead to an associate degree in organizational management or Christian ministry or bachelor's degrees in accounting, business administration, human resource management or not-for-profit leadership.

EXCEL offers courses in Huntington, Columbia City, Fort Wayne and Wabash.
