Film premiere, showcases to highlight students’ work

HUNTINGTON, Ind.- The Senior Film Premiere at Huntington University will highlight the talented works of senior animation and film students on campus. The films will be shown at 8:30 p.m. May 11 in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

The event will premiere completed productions that represent the culmination of the artistic journey of these digital media arts students.

Leading up to this event are the Spring Showcases which are juried screenings of pieces produced by students in the digital media arts program. The animation showcase, which will highlight the students' animated shorts films, will take place at 7 p.m. May 10 in the Zurcher Auditorium. The live-action film production showcase, which will feature live-action short films, documentaries and music videos, will take place at 7 p.m. May 11 in the Zurcher Auditorium.

There is no admission charge, and the shows are open to the public.
