Foundation breakfast to highlight nursing program

Huntington, Ind.-The first breakfast of the Huntington University Foundation's 2007-2008 Breakfast Series will feature introductions of new faculty and an update about the new nursing program. Following the presentation, Margaret Winter, director of nursing, will lead a tour of Department of Nursing in the lower level of the Science Hall.

The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the lower level of the Science Hall. The cost is $6 per person. Breakfasts are open to the public, and first-time guests are not charged. The program will conclude by 9 a.m.

Dr. Norris Friesen, dean and vice president of the university, will introduce new faculty members including Winter, Dr. Bobbi Buchholz, assistant professor of mathematics; Silvia Choi, assistant professor of Spanish; Jody Davenport, instructor in physical education; Dr. Jerry Davis, director of graduate counseling program and professor of counseling; Barb Michel, visiting instructor in art, and Dr. Tim Smith, assistant professor of history.

Attendees are asked to park in the College Park Church lot at the corner of College and Ruth streets. For those who require assistance, shuttle transportation from the parking lot to the Science Hall will be provided.
