Freimann Concert to perform at Merillat Centre
Huntington, Ind. " Principal musicians of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, including the popular Freimann String Quartet, will present a mid-winter concert of the best in music for small ensembles at Huntington College. The concert, held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at 8 p.m., will take place in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.
The Freimann String Quartet, a popular group that travels with the orchestra, will perform String Quartet in G Major, D. 887, by Schubert along with many other pieces. Also included in the evening's performance will be The Dragon Doesn't Live Here Anymore by Steve Tittle, Sarabande from Partita No. 1 in B Minor for Violin by J.S. Bach, and Saturday's Child and Busy Signal by Bill Molenhof.
