HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University Peer Award recipients for April are Sandy Hartle, digital media arts assistant, and Dr. Lance Clark, professor of digital media arts film and communications.

The Peer Award, which began in 2003, promotes acknowledgment and recognition of the outstanding efforts of Huntington University faculty and staff members. Award winners are chosen and recognized each month by fellow peers.

Hartle was recognized by Amy Johnson, mailing services coordinator, because of her hard work in the DMA department.

"Sandy truly cares about all of the students," Johnson said. "She has such a servant's heart and always gives encouragement to whoever needs it. Sandy is always willing to go above and beyond for anyone."

Clark was recognized by Dr. Matthew Ruiz, associate professor of exercise science, because of his passion for the university.

"Lance is an excellent ambassador and champion for the mission of Huntington University," Ruiz said. "Lance has built academic programs, built his own business, and most importantly, has advanced the cause of Christ for Huntington University. He is a trusted colleague and friend."
