HC Theatre students present One Act Play Festival

Huntington, Ind. " Huntington College will host its annual One-Act Play Festival April 27-29, with performances nightly in the Studio Theatre of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. There is no admission charge. The One Act Play Festival is the final project for students enrolled in the directing class at Huntington College. Two one-acts will be presented each evening.
On Thursday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. students will present Trifles by Susan Glaspell, directed by Rebekah Ward. Immediately following will be the production of Next by Terrence NcNally, directed by Wes Rowlader.
On Friday, April 28, beginning at 9:00 p.m. will be Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, directed by Sara Ward. Immediately following will be The Actor's Nightmare by Christopher Durang, directed by Shannon Colwin.
On Saturday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., students will present Impromptu by Tad Mosel, directed by Kim Randall. Immediately following will be The American Dream by Edward Albee, directed by Matt Hawkins.
Theatre performance and design/technology are among nearly 50 academic concentrations available at Huntington College. The four-year, Christian liberal arts college is located on a contemporary, lakeside campus in Huntington, Indiana.
