HU theater, music departments bring the holiday spirit to the stage

Huntington, Ind. - The Huntington University Theatre Company and Huntington Universitymusic department are thrilled to present "'Tis the Season: an Exciting Christmas Musical Revue" during the week of Dec. 1-4.

Bring the whole family to enjoy the merriment of the holiday season; but more importantly, come to rejoice in the miracle of the birth of Christ. There will be singing, dancing, music and drama all wrapped up in an evening of delightful entertainment. The show features such songs as "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Blue Christmas," "Deck the Halls" and many other popular Christmas tunes as well as many of your favorite carols and religious Christmas songs.

"'Tis the Season" will run from Dec. 1-4 in Zurcher Auditorium in the Merillat Centre for the Arts on Huntington University's campus. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for students and seniors, $6 for children 13 and younger, $5 for HU students and $9 for HU faculty/staff.

"'Tis the Season: A Christmas Celebration" is directed by Jay Duffer, choreographed by Melissa Duffer and musically directed by Dr. George Killian.
