Hubley to share ‘Faces of Haiti’ in upcoming exhibit

HUNTINGTON, Ind. A journey to locate her adopted son's birth mother has now been chronicled into a series of photographs by one Huntington University alum.

In an exhibit titled, "Faces of Haiti," Rebekah Hubley, a 1999 Huntington graduate and adjunct professor, will share her love of the country and its people in a series of photographs. The photos were shot during her visits to Haiti to locate her son's birth mother.

The exhibit will be featured in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery from Jan. 31 to Feb. 21. An artist reception will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 8.

The Wilson Gallery, located in the Merillat Centre for the Arts, is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., before and after all MCA performances and by appointment. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
