Huntington announces 2006 Homecoming court

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University student body crowned its Homecoming king and queen Friday during an evening ceremony in the Huntington Union Building. Benjamin Thompson, a music performance major from Covington, Ind., was named king while Chynna Wright, a social work major from New Philadelphia, Ohio, was crowned queen.

Senior attendants of the Homecoming court included Molly Andrews, a mathematics education major from Greenwood, Ind.; Jessica Gundy, a business management major from Grand Rapids, Mich.; April Snider, a communication studies major from Wapakoneta, Ohio; Seth Caldwell, a communication studies major from Mansfield, Ohio; David Nearpass, a youth ministries major from Lansing, Ill.; and Eric Throne, a mathematics education major from Archbold, Ohio.

Representing the freshman class were court attendants Katie Aeschliman, a public relations major from Stryker, Ohio, and Joel Reichenbach, a youth ministries major from Bluffton, Ohio. The sophomore class nominated Kathryn Rodgers, a missions major from Lincoln, Ill., and Patrick Harding, an undecided major from Avilla, Ind., as their representatives. Rounding out the homecoming court were juniors Sara Kessie, an entrepreneurial small business major from Columbia City, Ind., and Justin Miller, an English education major from Parker, Col.
