Huntington recognizes outstanding future educators

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Education Department recently recognized the following students as recipients of the Outstanding Future Educator Award:

Joshua Cauhorn, a senior English education major from Avilla, Ind.

Cassie Miller, a senior elementary education major from Huntington, Ind.

Leah Winger, a senior elementary education major from South Whitley, Ind.

The award is based on the students' academic achievements, disposition and performance in clinical experiences, especially student teaching.

The Outstanding Future Educator Award is given by Huntington University in conjunction with the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. A statewide honorary banquet was held by the IACTE on April 17 for the recipients of the award.
