Huntington to host Visiting Executive Seminar

Huntington, Ind.-Huntington University will host a Visiting Executive Seminar on Oct. 27 at 8:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons. The seminar brings together business leaders and Huntington University business students to discuss important issues in today's business world. Led by Jim O'Donnell, associate professor of business, and Dr. Blair Dowden, president of the university, this seminar will focus on the topic "Who is my neighbor?"

"Being a Christian or even thinking 'Christianly' is full of choices, which our world does not always understand," O'Donnell said. "No more important choice exists than that, whatever we do, we are to love God and our neighbor above all else. Putting aside, for this seminar, how we love God, I thought we might direct our attention to the simple but exquisitely difficult matter of pondering, 'Who is my neighbor?'"

Attendees are invited to stay for a lunch and fellowship time following the program. Attendance is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. For more information, please contact Ella Burnett at (260) 359-4069 or e-mail eburnett@huntington.edu.
