Huntington University crowns 2011 Homecoming court
HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University student body crowned its Homecoming king and queen during an evening ceremony Oct 7. Senior Alec Rosario, a business management major from Valparaiso, Ind., was named king while senior Alysse Perez, an elementary education major from Holland, Mich., was crowned queen. Homecoming was Oct. 7-8.
Senior attendants of the Homecoming court included Brita Kuiper, a nursing major from Bellevue, Mich., Emily Morris, a youth ministries and missions major from Huntington, Ind., Logan Placencia, an elementary education major from Auburn, Ind., Miles Allen, a film production major from Roscoe, Ill., Sean Cruse, an animation major from Melville, N.Y., and Ryan Schnurr, a broadcasting and film studies major from Fort Wayne, Ind.
Representing the freshman class were court attendants Kelsey Snyder, a broadcasting and history major from Decatur, Ind., and Luke Batdorff, a math major from Bluffton, Ind. The sophomore class nominated Esther Kaufman, a nursing major from Grabill, Ind., and James Pope, a sport and exercise studies major from San Diego, Calif., as their representatives. And rounding out the homecoming court were juniors Tianna Clark, a social work major from Fort Wayne, Ind., and Andrew Malloy, a business management major from New Palestine, Ind.
