Huntington University to host annual band invitational

Huntington, Ind. - Huntington University will host the 8th Annual Band Invitational at 7 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. The Huntington University Wind Ensemble will join the Huntington Erie Band to perform a variety of band music, including arrangements by John Philip Sousa, an American composer and conductor who was known mostly for his American military and patriotic marches. The Huntington University Wind Ensemble is directed by Dr. Robert Lynn director, and the Huntington Erie Band is directed by Thane Campbell.
This concert is free and open to the public.
