Huntington, Ind. "The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra will present "Holiday Pops," Huntington's favorite Yuletide celebration, on Sunday, December 11, at 2:30 p.m., in the Zurcher Auditorium of Huntington University's Merallit Centre for the Arts.

Directed by assistant conductor Bradley Thachuk, the concert will include a series of holiday tunes and family favorites. The tradition of an audience sing-along of well-known holiday songs continues this year.

The performance will feature soprano Lisa McDavid. Originally from Ohio, McDavid began her singing career at the age 17 in various musical and theatrical presentations. At the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, she has performed as Dorothy in The Wiz and Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for which she received the Best Lead Female in a Musical. In 2002, she was the featured soloist for the Winter Olympic Torch Relay.

Tickets for the Holiday Pops at Huntington University are $18, $16, and $14, depending on seating preference. Seniors receive a $2 discount, and student tickets are $4. For more information or to reserve tickets, contact the Merillat Centre for the Arts Box Office at (260) 359-4261, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
