HU’s graduate counseling program to host visit day

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Huntington University's graduate counseling program will host a visit day from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 26.

The Master of Arts in counseling degree offers students educational experiences both in and out of the classroom. Some of the program's distinctives include broad theoretical training, commitment to community impact, intentionality in faith integration and experienced faculty. The program meets or exceeds all state requirements for LMHC licensure. Huntington also offers courses for students to gain their license in Indiana. Classes are offered in Huntington on the main campus and in Fort Wayne at the Parkview Randallia campus.

The event includes an introduction with Dr. Jerry Davis, director of graduate counseling, a tour with an admissions counselor, dinner and a question-and-answer session with faculty and current students as well as an opportunity to observe a class.
