Kaushik, Rodgers named Huntington royalty

Huntington, Ind. " The Huntington University student body crowned its Homecoming King and Queen during an evening ceremony on September 30, 2005, on the campus of Huntington University. Varun Kaushik, a business management and computer science double major from New Delhi, India was named king while Jenna Rodgers, a missions major from Franklin, Penn., was crowned queen. Senior attendants of the Homecoming court included Harmony Peace, a history education major from Huntington, Ind.; Christina Spencer, an elementary education major from Upland, Ind.; Laura Sprunger, a family and children's ministry major from Berne, Ind.; Ryan Darr, a mathematics major from Adrian, Mich.; Joshua Miller, a mathematics education major from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.; and Andrew Vaught, a Bible & religion major from Huntington, Ind.
Representing the freshman class were court attendants Katie Mitchel, a social work major from Monroe, Ind., and Tim Lee Taylor, a communications major from Kokomo, Ind. The sophomore class nominated Rachel Nazarenus, a ministry major from Fishers, Ind., and Joel Wentz, a music business major from State Line, Penn., as their representatives. Rounding out the homecoming court were juniors Molly Andrews, a mathematics education major from Greenwood, Ind., and Eric Throne, a mathematics education major from Stryker, Ohio.
