Kimlick, Weiseman named ‘Foresters of the Year’

HUNTINGTON, IN MAY 17, 1996 --- Sara Kimlick of New Paris, Indiana, and Jay Weiseman of Somonauk, Illinois, were elected Foresters of the Year by the student body of Huntington College. The two seniors were recognized at the annual Forester Night Banquet on May 9.

Kimlick will graduate from Huntington College May 18 with a bachelor's degree in English. A 1992 graduate of Fairfield High School, she is the daughter of Janet Kimlick of New Paris, Indiana. During her four years at Huntington College, Sara has been active in theatre, choir and wind ensemble. During the last two summers, she toured with Doc Rainbow's Colorful All-Star Revue, a Huntington College musical theatre troupe. She has served as a resident assistant and freshman advisor. An outstanding student, Sara is a member of Alpha Chi, a national collegiate honor society. Sara has contributed her spare time to a tutoring program operated by the college's Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service. Last October, she was elected Homecoming Queen.

Weiseman will receive a bachelor's degree in business management from Huntington College on May 18. A 1992 graduate of Sandwich Community High School, Jay is the son of J. David and Alice Weiseman of Somonauk, Illinois. He has been a member of the Forester cross country and track teams and also has played intramural volleyball.
