Laurel Miller to present senior recital September 28

Huntington, Ind. " Laurel Miller, a senior Church Music major from Fort Wayne, Ind., will present her Senior Recital on Saturday, September 28, 2002. The 7 p.m. concert will be held in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. Admission is free and the recital is open to the public. Miller, who studies voice under the direction of Joni Killian, performed in Huntington College's Spring 2000 Longaker Recital. She has been a featured soloist for many churches in the Huntington and Fort Wayne areas and is currently a co-worship leader at First Baptist Church in Huntington. Miller also travels with the Huntington College Worship Ensemble.
I feel called to use my talent in music for Christ through encouragement and worship to others, said Miller.

Joining Miller at various points throughout her recital will be Huntington College student-musicians Kati Hultman, Natasha Gilgen, Jay Michaud, Jason Luker and Jud Yutzy.
