Marissa Chittick to present Senior Recital

Huntington, Ind. "Marissa Chittick, a senior music major from Indianapolis, Ind., will perform her senior recital on Friday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. The recital, held in the Longaker Recital Hall in the Merillat Centre for the Arts, is open to the public and admission is free. Studying voice lessons under Professor Amy Prickett, Chittick's recital pieces will showcase works by composers Claude Debussy, Douglas Moore, Franz Joseph Haydn, Jason Robert Brown and Johann Sebastian Bach.
During the past four years at Huntington College, Chittick has been a member of the Concert Choir and Women's Chorale. She toured with the College's worship group, Preeminence, last summer and continues to do so this spring. Chittick has participated in several musicals including Oklahoma!, where she was a member of the Ensemble, and Pirates of Penzance, where she played the role of Mabel. She also participated in the production of Pippin and was the stage manager of the fairy tale opera, Hansel and Gretel.
