Mark Harris to perform at Huntington University

Huntington, Ind.-Huntington University, Star 88.3, and The Rocky and Carol Strickler Endowment will present Mark Harris in concert at 7:30 p.m. on March 8 in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

After spending 15 years as part of 4-Him, Harris decided to branch out and record his first solo album, released in June 2005. More than a year in the making, "The Line Between the Two" speaks about his passions and priorities, stretching and challenging him in ways he hadn't imagined.

"It's a different animal mostly because these songs are more personal, and it's more work cutting all the vocals on your own," said Harris.

The record echoes the necessity of breaking out of the daily routine, seeing life with new eyes and packing purpose into every moment. His impassioned tenor voice has never had a more tailor-made setting. The project is as personal and transparent as it is artistically compelling.
