Michelson published in new Romanian book

Huntington, Ind. " Dr. Paul Michelson, distinguished professor of history at Huntington College, wrote the article, Alexander loan Cuza and the Polish Question: The Costangalia Incident of 1863, in a book entitled Romanian and Polish Peoples in East-Central Europe (17th -20th Centuries), published by the Romanian Academy. Recently, Dr. Michelson gave two lectures, Eastern Europe: The Familiar Unfamiliar and The Use and Abuse of History: Romanian Legacies, at the Foreign Service Institute in Washington D.C. He also wrote, Some Contributions and Benefits of the Romanian Fulbright Program, for SA VEZI LUMEA CUM O VAD CELALTI, published by the Romanian Fulbright Commission, and a review article on Moldova in Balkanistica, Vol. 16 (2003).
Dr. Michelson began his Huntington teaching career in 1974. He holds a PhD in history from Indiana University, and specializes in East European and Russian history with a particular expertise in Romanian history and culture. He has been a three-time senior Fulbright scholar in Romania, has published widely, has traveled extensively, and is a frequent consultant to numerous agencies, including government bodies on Romanian and East European affairs. He is frequently sought by the media, such as the Voice of America, The Christian Science Monitor, and the BBC. Michelson serves as Secretary of the National Board, Society for Romanian Studies and is editor of the SRS Newsletter. He is co-editor of the newsletter of the Conference on Faith and History and was a recipient of the Huntington College Centennial Medallion.
