Miller to present theatre project, ‘Wheels of a Dream’

Huntington, Ind.-Jenn Miller will present "Wheels of a Dream" as her senior theatre project at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Studio Theatre of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

There is no admission charge, and the event is open to the public.

Miller, a theatre major from Berkeley, Ill., will present "a compilation of musical theatre numbers that, when strung together, loosely resemble the issues a young woman may struggle with while trying to figure out the proper path God has laid for her."

"As a transfer student to Huntington University, my time here has been another stepping stone in the journey toward God's plan and the achievement of my dreams," Miller said. "'Wheels of a Dream' depicts the recognition of past mistakes, realization of dreams and uncertainty of what comes next."

"I am extremely grateful and have the utmost respect for the large cast and crew of this show, specifically Mary Russell, my accompanist, who has been with the project since the beginning and has sacrificed almost as many hours as I have to get the show on its feet," Miller said. "We had a unique situation this year with senior projects being all in one weekend as well as the week following 'Radium Girls,' and many people dear to my heart have pulled together to keep the wheels of my directorial dream turning."
