National Christian college fair to be held in Fort Wayne

Huntington, Ind. " For the first time in five years, the North American Coalition for Christian Admission Professionals (NACCAP) will hold a national Christian college fair in Fort Wayne, Ind. The fair, to be held on Thursday, October 6 at Emmanuel Community Church from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., will be hosted by Huntington University. Approximately 30 other Christian colleges and universities from across the country will be present to answer questions and provide information to students and parents.

This is a great opportunity to have a number of Christian colleges from all over the region and beyond come to one location and have their representatives available to prospective students and their families, Chant Thompson, executive director of NACCAP, said. The format for the fair is such that those in attendance may talk to whichever school or schools they choose. There are wonderful options for college and university educations available all across the country, and several of those campuses will be represented right here in Fort Wayne at the Emmanuel Community Church on Thursday, October 6.

Parents and students will be able to attend sessions designed to inform them on the financial aid process. One session will be held at 6:45 p.m., with a second session beginning at 7:45 p.m.

The financial aid workshops available during the fair are held so that parents can pick up the latest information on making the whole college experience feasible and affordable, Thompson said. It's amazing how many more options are available to students than community colleges and state universities that will provide top quality experiences that will enhance a student's learning for a lifetime.
