O’Donnell to share economic forecast in Columbia City

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Foundation will present Jim O'Donnell's 2007 economic review and 2008 economic forecast for the Columbia City Area Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 8. His presentation is titled "The Sub-prime Mess, Falling Dollar and Sky High Oil - Does 2008 Even Have a Future?" O'Donnell was an executive with a national mutual fund company prior to his current role as associate professor of business and executive-in-residence at Huntington University. He is a certified public accountant and served many years as an executive in the financial services industry with such firms as Fidelity Investments and the Dreyfus Corporation in Boston and New York, respectively. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his master's degree in business administration from Columbia University.
The event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the community room of Parkview Whitley Hospital, 353 N. Oak St., Columbia City. Breakfast will be served, and there is no charge. RSVP by Jan. 4 to the Columbia City Area Chamber of Commerce at (260) 248-8131.
O'Donnell also will give his forecast for the Huntington University Foundation on Jan. 9, Wells County Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development on Jan. 10 and Decatur Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 14.
