HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University Peer Award recipients for September are Margaret Pasko, administrative assistant to the vice president for Student Life, and Dr. Luke Fetters, associate professor of ministry and missions.
The Peer Award, which began in 2003, promotes acknowledgment and recognition of the outstanding efforts of Huntington University faculty and staff members. Award winners are chosen and recognized each month by fellow peers.
Pasko was recognized by Sara Diehl, an admissions counselor, because she is dependable and willing to go the extra mile.
"Margaret Pasko is the mastermind behind many successful programs at Huntington. She is extremely detail orientated. Every task that is handed to her runs smoothly and on schedule," Diehl said.
Fetters was recognized by Pam Rudy, administrative assistant to the vice president for business and finance, because of his attitude and his display of his love for Jesus Christ.
"I appreciate Luke's attitude towards his students. He not only teaches them through the classroom, but he takes a personal approach and mentors them in the many aspects of life that they'll encounter outside of the classroom," Rudy said.
