Professors to share about teacher training program

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Foundation will kick off its 2008-2009 breakfast series Sept. 10 with a presentation titled "Impacting Our World."

For the second consecutive year, Huntington University has entered into a partnership with Zhuhai City Bureau of Education in southern China to provide teacher training for primary and middle school English teachers. Huntington University professors Dr. Luke Fetters, Susie Burson and Valerie Geer will share their experiences leading a team of faculty, staff, students and alumni for the three-week summer program.

The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. in Huntington University's Habecker Dining Commons, and the program will conclude by 9 a.m. The cost is $6 per person. First-time guests eat free.

The Huntington University Foundation hosts a monthly breakfast meeting open to anyone interested in learning about current issues and Huntington University programs. Breakfast meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May, at the Habecker Dining Commons.
