Rahn speaks to Chicagoland youth workers

CAROL STREAM, IL-Dr. Dave Rahn, professor of youth ministries at Huntington University, visited LeaderTreks on Nov. 2 where he shared the importance of student leadership development to a gathering of youth workers from the Chicagoland area. At the Student Leadership Summit, youth workers joined in a discussion with Rahn about the best practices for equipping student leaders. Youth pastors, volunteers and LeaderTreks staff learned about different models of leadership in youth ministry as well as the importance of equipping leaders. After sharing with the staff and youth workers, he sat down with Matt Schulte, director of Youth Pastor Resources, and shared his thoughts on student leadership development.
