Roundtable to address online communities’ impact

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Graduate School of Christian Ministries will host its first-ever Ministry Roundtable on March 26, addressing the impact online communities, such as MySpace, Facebook and blogs, are having on community within the church. The roundtable, to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Huntington University, will feature speaker Andrew Sikora.
Sikora graduated from Huntington University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in youth ministry. He serves as the teaching pastor at Sevenoseven, the young adult ministry of Cuyahoga Valley Church in Broadview, Ohio. His responsibilities include bringing messages on Sunday nights, casting vision and providing leadership. Previously, he worked for Pathway Community Church in Fort Wayne, Ind., as the director of student ministries.

The Ministry Roundtable is open to the public. The cost is $20, which covers registration, lunch and refreshments. Registered participants can earn 0.4 Continuing Education Unit credits.
