Sophomore scholars honored for achievement

Huntington, Ind. "The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship Honor Society has honored five students at Huntington College with the 1998 Sophomore Honor Award. The students were recognized as the top five in their class at the semester's final faculty meeting. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement during the first two years of college, which primarily includes classes in the core curriculum.

Honored students include:

Liza Chapman, a recreation management major from Greentown, Indiana

Chris Edgel, a business major from Grand Ledge, Michigan

Erin Hagar, business major from Warsaw, Indiana

Ben Hamm, a youth ministries major from Medina, Ohio

Kristina Hultman, an English education major from Spring Arbor, Michigan

Founded in 1897, Huntington College offers graduate and undergraduate programs in nearly 50 academic concentrations. The Christian liberal arts college is located on a contemporary, wooded campus in Huntington, Indiana.
