Students serve in Boston over Spring Break

Huntington, Ind. " While many college students take advantage of the country's sunnier regions for their own enjoyment during Spring Break, several Huntington College students and staff have plans to spend their week serving in Boston duringthe week of March 21-25, 2005.

Ekklesia, the student led chapel team at Huntington College, will work with the Boston Project Ministries, Inc., serving the poor in many ways throughout the Boston area. Their service projects will include everything from painting a room in a women's shelter to feeding the homeless.

I know that every day will be difficult, said Jennifer Stalter, a senior public relations major from Kokomo, Ind., but at least we will get to return to a warm bed at night, unlike a lot of those that we will be serving. I'm looking forward to the challenges.
