Students spend Spring Break serving in Atlanta

Huntington, Ind. " While many college students take advantage of the country's sunnier regions for their own enjoyment during Spring Break, several Huntington College students and staff have plans to spend their week serving in Atlanta during the week of March 21-25, 2005. Led by staff members Joanne Miller and Nicole Fain, the Atlanta team will work with a local organization called City of Refuge. They will prepare food for the homeless, work with several children's programs in the area and work at a food distribution warehouse.
I am looking forward to God teaching me the reality of how life is for others, said Jill Hilterbrand, a senior communication studies major from Fort Sill, Okla. I hope to make a difference and to show God's love.
